The flat-faced breeds
Brachys covers the brachycephalic family — the short-muzzled breeds with the faces people cross the street to meet. Each breed page is a real reference: temperament, lifespan, health, care — and, once the app launches, the community-voted Face of the Breed.
English Bulldog
Wrinkled, low-slung, and completely devoted. The English Bulldog is the gentlest tough guy in dogdom, a couch philosopher whose whole career is being adored.
Boston Terrier
Tuxedo coat, bat ears, and big-city manners. The Boston Terrier is America's own flat-faced original — bright, dapper, and convinced every stranger is a friend who hasn't said hi yet.
French Bulldog
Bat ears, a boxer's build in a lap-dog body, and the most in-demand mug in America. The Frenchie is proof that charisma is a body type.
Pug
Two thousand years of being adored, from Chinese emperors to your couch. The Pug is the ancient master of the art this whole site exists to celebrate: the face.
Boxer
The athlete of the squishy-face family. A Boxer is sixty pounds of springs, loyalty, and expressive forehead wrinkles — the flat-faced dog that can actually keep up with the kids.
